This is the first time these top wines have been available here and follows the success of their 'Blend' - one of only four Argentine wines to be awarded a Gold Medal at the 2010 International Wine Challenge. Their range of wines will be available from the end of September. In the meantime samples can be tasted at the Decanter Wine Event, Vinopolis, London on the 11th of September and at Wines From Argentina Tasting at Lords Cricket Ground on the 14th of September. MANCHESTER FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL Morgenrot will again be supporting the 2010 MFDF. Do try our new German beer agency Kaiserdom which will be featured at the Octoberfest in Albert Square, 1st - 3rd October. COWDRAY GOLD CUP Good news for lovers of Polo and beer.Quilmes, Agentina's favourite beer will be available at this years favourite Polo day - the finals of the Gold Cup held at Cowdray Park on 18th July. Quilmes will be the premium imported beer at this premier event. KROMBACHER CLASSIC The annual Krombacher Classic Golf Tournament was held at Cleckheaton GC on Monday 28th June. A gloriously warm and sunney day added to the enjoyment of the 24 teams taking part. Congratulations to Moor Allerton GC to triumphed in a closely contested event. Everyone is now looking forward th next year, which will be the 10th anniversary of the event. TAPAS FANTASTICAS Our Rioja agency Vallemayor was one of 40 Bodegas represented at the annual Tapas Fantasticas food and wine event on the 25-28th June. Held this year on London's South Bank near Tower Bridge in perfect sunny weather Vallemayor's wines included the award winning Encineda and 2005 Reserva, with the white and rose Joven wines selling out in the warm temperatures.
