CHAMPAGNE

A name associated with the (in)famous Cristal but a great Champagne House in its own right. The company is one of the largest of the independents, owned by the same family that founded it in 1776.

Their 180ha of vineyards, all grand and Premier Cru, supply 70% of the total volume. In addition, limited production and controlled sales maintain a superb level of quality.

Roederer is the only house to age reserve wines in oak vats - an important factor in its unique complex style.

BRUT PREMIER NV

56% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier

A cuvee of four different harvests - 10% from three reserve wines that have been aged in oak for 2-6 years. The cuvee is left to mature in bollte for over three years.

Pale golden colour, delicate bubbles; richly honeyed yet subtle bouquet with toasty highlights. Soft rounded fruit leads to a very creamy finish. The result is both young and lively, smooth and mature

Excellent aperitif, with canapes and alongside light starters and meals based on fish or shellfish.
