SPIRITS & LIQUEURS

Tapaus, which means 'Hidden Treasure' in the local Huarpe dialect, is the first ever range of premium Argentinean Spirits and Liqueurs. The spirits are distilled from different grape varieties, and this wine alcohol is used as a base to which pure flavours are added to create the fruit liqueurs.

The ingredients are cultivated in the famous wine growing region of Mendoza. The range is 100% natural - no preserving or colouring agents are used. The fruit liqueurs have a one year shelf life and will naturally separate out. Please shake before using.

All can be served on their own - eithe chilled or on the rocks - and are ideal for adding unique flavours to cocktails. Please contact us for a full list of products available.

• Distillation of Muscatel grapes - 35%abv
• Typically grapy Muscatel character; lifted aromas, slightly sweet with a light alcohol presence.

• Distillation of red grape marc - predominantly Malbec - 40%abv
• Robust 'masculine' style with a full intense attack and a long persistant alchoholic length.

• Distillation of white grape marc - 40%abv
• More 'feminine' balance; sweetly aromatic with discernable Sauvignon Blanc notes. Light, dry and gentle finish.

• Wine based alcohol blended with mandarin juice, pulp and sugar - 15%abv.
• Strong juicy orange character, vibrant citrus nose and body in enhanced with a little sweetness to finish on a long harmonious note.

• Wine based alcohol blended with grapefruit juice, pulp and sugar - 15%abv.
• Deep and intense fruit on the nose, light body with good acidity and alcohol leads to a fulfilling finish.

• Dulce de Leche - an Argentinean confectionary - is added to the base spirit. 15%abv
• A unique speciality. This is thick and viscous: a heavy-duty Baileys which coats the glass like PX. The taste is a toffee caramel, close to caramelised condensed milk. Very sweet and smooth and the alcohol prevents any cloying finish.
