VODKA

Gorbatschow was established by a family from St Petersberg who fled the Russian Revelution in 1917. The distillery was opened in Berlin in 1921, the vodka aimed mainly at fellow emigrees. Production was severly affected by the Second World War, but after reconstruction the tradition continued.

It is the leading Vodka in the German market with 31% sales share and is ranked 77 within the top 100 spirit brands in the world.

• Double charcoal filtered for extra smoothness.
• A clear spirit with a light aroma of stone fruits on the nose.The medium body is slightly oily with discernable soft spice and fruit notes. The taste is very smooth and balanced with the spice and fruit following through to add to the lingering nutty finish
