VISIT THE MANCHESTER CHRISTMAS MARKETS

Albert Square – European Market

Open 10am to 9pm every day.
Friday 10 November to Thursday 21 December.

With a huge selection of traders from across Europe, the Christmas Market at Albert Square has become a Christmas tradition for people from across the region with a mouthwatering array of food and drinks on offer.
Bratwurst, strudels and hog roasts, beer halls, gluhwein houses and Christmas punch stalls – Albert Square has got it covered.
With stalls selling everything from pottery, jewellery, clothes and fashion accessories, to trees and plants, not to mention unique and unusual hand-crafted gifts from across Europe.

St. Ann’s Square – German Market

Open 10am to 7.30pm in November
10am to 8pm in December.
Friday 10 November to Wednesday 20 December.

The German Market at St Ann’s Square was the site of the original market in 1998, when a group of traders from Frankfurt were invited to host a small traditional market there.
Over the years they’ve developed into one of the most popular markets, selling arts and crafts, German Christmas gifts, strudels, sweets and Bratwurst.
The Gluhwein house and beer hall make it an excellent place to meet friends and enjoy a drink or two.

King Street – French Market

Open 10am to 7.30pm in November and 10am to 8pm in December.
Friday 10 November to Wednesday 20 December.

The King Street Christmas market offers fine French produce, stylish accessories, and traditional beauty products.
Whilst edible treats include the cheeses, pâtés, and wines France is so famous for, there’s also a bar with a seating area selling coffees and alcoholic drinks providing a wonderful place to stop and relax if you are out shopping for the day.

Cathedral Gardens – Family Friendly Market

10am to 7.30pm from 10 November to 30 November.
10am to 8pm from 1 December to 20 December.

The Christmas markets at Cathedral Gardens are the perfect place to bring children of all ages.
Alongside market stalls selling arts and crafts you’ll find the Windmill bar with it’s mulled wine and beers for adults and a smaller Windmill selling mouthwatering Dutch cookies and a waffle and pancake house.
Cathedral Gardens is also home to traditional fairground rides, including a Victorian Carousel, Helter-Skelter, Ferris Wheel, Victorian Swing and the Ice Rink is back for a second year. So get your skates on!

New Cathedral Street

Open 10am to 7.30pm in November and 10am to 8pm in December.
Friday 10 November to Wednesday 20 December.

New Cathedral Street is a great place to get your handcrafted jewellery, pottery and one-off gift items, giving you plenty of choice when it comes to filling those Christmas stockings!
There’s also a handy Gluhwein house which serves hot German food.

Exchange Square

Open 10am to 7.30pm in November and 10am to 8pm in December.
Friday 10 November to Wednesday 20 December.

Exchange Square’s stalls always feature some incredible edibles and chic boutiques and this year is no different.
You’ll find Italian, German and Halal food stalls alongside stalls selling macaroons, Dutch pancakes and cookies and a bar selling mulled wines and ciders that you can flavour with liqueurs!

Brazennose Street

Open 10am to 7.30pm in November and 10am to 8pm in December.
Friday 10 November to Wednesday 20 December.

A smaller market for 2017, but no less Christmassy! Traders selling arts and crafts will sit alongside traditional food stalls and a bar selling Gluhwein, beers and liqueurs.

All bars are open till 9pm
We have Krombacher Pils (4.8%) Dunkel (4.7%) and the specially brewed Kellerbier (5.1%)
and also
Eichbaum Premium Lager (5%), Eichbaum Hefeweizen (5%), Dunkel (4.9%) and Pelforth (5.8%)  all featured this year at the markets.
