| Tapiz's winery in Mendoza was built in 1999 when the Californian company Kendall Jackson expanded into Argentina. In 2003 the venture was bought by Fincas Patagonicas, the company of Argentine family Ortiz, who already owned vineyards in the region. They set about changing the direction of the Tapiz brand, from one aimed at the American market to a classically styled wine with both national and international appeal. |

| NQN is a boutique winery producing showcase wines at affordable prices from the region now rivaling Mendoza for quality and class. The vineyards were planted in 2001 and the modern winery, benefiting from substantial investment, is buried into the earth. |
| The Malma (which means ‘Pride’) range is 100% pure varietal; all are oak aged and show great complexity and concentration. |
| Organic farming is practiced throughout the estate and formal certification is expected in 2008. |
