Feitizo da noite – The Galician Sparkle

September 2017

With the Albariño grape and sparkling wine two standout trends of the last few years, we’re delighted to be showcasing the best of both bottles in our Feitizo da noite at ProjectHOME.

Meaning ‘Spell of the night’ in Galician, this powerful, floral and lively sparkling wine is made using the region’s famed and increasingly popular Albariño grapes. With an abv of 12%, the 100% sparkling Albariño from the Rias Baixas region in north-west Spain taps into a real trend and offers the perfect point of difference to the sparkling menu this festive season.

Bodegas Pablo Padín

Feitizo da noite is produced by the highly-acclaimed Bodegas Pablo Padín in the Rias Baixas region in north-west Spain. Using selected vineyards, the Albariño grapes are handpicked, destemmed and undergo controlled temperature fermentation in aged stainless steel tanks before ageing for a further nine months minimum in the bottle.

Feitizo da noite – a beautiful straw yellow in colour with elegant aromas of candied white fruits, pleasant floral notes and subtle touch of light aging. Elegant in taste with a slow release of constant creamy white bubbles, it has a wonderful balance and refreshing acidity with hints of ripe apples and candied citrus.

The sublime sparkling wine will be available to taste at the ProjectHOME event which takes place from 10-8pm at Manchester’s art and culture hub – HOME, 2 Tony Wilson Place, First Street, Manchester, M15 4FN.  The event will also feature:
