Haacht brewery was founded in 1898. With over 125 years of brewing experience Haacht remain a true family-run brewery, now led by the fourth generation, and have chosen to stay proudly independent.
They made their reputation by brewing Belgium’s first Pilsner lager (before Stella Artois), now sold as Primus.
Settles with a slight haze and a full head. Light aromas of the adjuncts – coriander and orange zest – with a fruity and nutty, rather vthan hoppy, background. A crisp palate with clean carbonation and soft palate. There is a balanced, creamy finish with a lingering sweetness.
