Winemaker Beyers Truter is world renowned for his Pintotage wines and has the accolade of being International Winemaker of the Year from the 1991 International Wine and Spirit Competition.
Primary fruity aromas lead to an abundance of plum and black cherries against mocha, cedar and sweet spicy notes. Strong plum flavours dominate the palate with velvety tannins. Well structured, yet elegant and soft, medium-bodied with a superbly balanced finish.
Whilst being drinkable now it will develop even further for up to five years.
