La Paz Merlot
The Merlot is predominantly sourced from selected vineyards in the Maule and Rapel Valleys, the latter is renowned for its ability to produce soft sweet red wines.
Fermentation was in stainless steel tanks lasting between 5 to 7 days during which the juice was pumped over the skin cap twice a day. The wine spent 3 months in stainless steel tank, and underwent natural malolactic fermentation.
Ageing potential – 2 years.
Enjoy with pastas, stews, white meat with soft spices or grilled fish.
A dark violet colour with reddish tones. Pleasant complexity of black fruit aromas on the nose and generous with ripe sweet fruits flavours on the palate.
