Castelo de Medina Verdejo

Castelo de Medina’s premium Verdejo, an award winning interpretaion of this local varietal.

It has picked up Gold in the Spanish CINVE tasting, Silver  from Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and Silver again in the International Wine Challenge.

Verdejo is the noted regional grape of Rueda (though now grown in other areas) and vies with Sauvignon Blanc to produce aromatic, herbaceous wines with a dry crispness.

A bouquet of fresh-cut grass, anise, fennel, and hints of apple. In the mouth it is ample, robust, fresh and very well-balanced with a persistent finish
