La Divatte ‘Sur Lie’ – Muscadet

The “La Divatte” cuvee is made from grapes grown on the left bank of the Loire, upstream from Nantes.

The appelation covers 23 communes to the south-east of Nantes, around Vallet, Clisson, Le Loroux Bottereau, and Vertou.

Tasting Notes:

A Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie that is aged on lees for 8 months to give more roundness, adding light stone fruit to its intense, grassy dryness. It is enjoyably crisp whilst young, but will age well for several years.
