Les Volcans – Gamay/Pinot Noir

Cave Saint-Verny is the sole co-operative in the Puy-de-Dôme. Originally called Cave des Coteaux it was founded in 1950 and suffered a chequered history, coming close to being dissolved in the late 1980’s.

a 50/50 blend where the grapes are de-stemmed and fermented in tank but without any Beaujolais style carbonic-maceration. Cherry aromas, light, smooth mouthfeel with hedgerow fruits on the finish.
