Reserva 1925 is named after the year of the brewery’s foundation and, inspired by the first recipes, was first brewed in 1997. The iconic bottle (awarded both Gold and overall ‘Best in Show’ for packaging in the 2015 International Beer Challenge) is based on the original design, without a label – and green glass in Spain was very rare in those days!

It certainly lives up to its “Crafted Inside & Out” tag-line. The finest ingredients are used and a specific yeast strain pitched fresh in every batch. It is brewed and conditioned over a lengthy 35 days to impart the maximum of flavour and smoothness

Tasting Notes: Dark amber colour, powerful nose, full flavours and well rounded from its 35 days of brewing and conditioning. It is full bodied with lightly toasted aromas, rounded flavours and a perfect bitter-sweet balance ranging from citrusy orange to light caramel malt..

Hops - Nugget, Magnum and Taurus for bittering; late hopped with Saaz for aroma.

Malt - Spanish malt from Navarre, Albacete and Seville

Food pairing suggestions: One to savor, on its own, for the quality to stand out, but also with enough weight to carry something lightly spicy and a little bit sweet like North African Merguez, piquant chorizo or Cajun-style scallops.
