Unibroue started in 1990, their passion for Trappist and Abbey beers was furthered in 2003 when Belgium trained Jerry Vietz joined and who still remains their Brewmaster. They are Canada’s most highly rated brewery with over 400 worldwide awards to date. 

Maudite evokes the Quebec legend of La Chasse-galerie – or flying canoe – which tells the tale of men who would risk anything for a night of fun, even making a pact with the devil.

Tasting Notes: Red amber colour; aromatic and complex beer revealing aromas of spice, orange and malt. A velvety palate of caramelised sugar and marmalade; slightly roasted malts with a spicy finish.
