Origin: Duero, Portugal
Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Sousão
Tasting notes: A complex and aromatic nose, on which the intense bouquet of very ripe berries prevail, especially blackberry and raspberry, with subtle notes of black pepper wrapped in notes of aged wood. It starts delicate but richness develops in the mouth; assertive tannins engaging the palate with the flavours of ripe berries as well a hint of dark chocolate. A long and velvety finish.

Pairing suggestions: the ideal choice to combine with a chocolate mint cheesecake, a pear and chocolate millefeuille or simply to enjoy with cheeses of medium intensity. It can also be served with main courses of meat, like peppered steak or veal cutlet with Bérnaise sauce.
