Aljibes Sparkling Blanco 20lt keg | Tierra de Castilla, Spain
An organically farmed, high altitude, low intervention sparkling wine of 95% Airen with 5% Sauvignon Blanc available in 20lt Key-kegs.
The sustainably framed estate is situated on a high desert plateau in the east of Albecete, Castilla-la-Mancha. The 400 acres of vineyards at nearly 3000 feet are a mix of well draining clay, chalk and limestone. The height, soils and arid climate are well suited to low yielding and long maturing grape varietals that point to a classically rounded La Mancha style of wine.
The vines are an average age of 25 years, the grapes vinified in concrete tanks in order to preserve the complexity of the aromas.
