“Like a true nature’s child, We were born, born to be wild.”

In 2004 Paris Hilton asked permission to use this song in her show The Simple Life. The band, Steppenwolf, refused. There are things Rock & Roll can’t accept.

But winemakers Wines n’ Roses do accept the need for sustainable and responsible farming in the environment.

Bobal grapes are grown in poor clay soils situated in the west of Valencia at 700 metres altitude. The vines grow in a ‘continental’ climate influenced by the Mediterranean.

The wine spends 9 months in French and American oak barrels.

Mars Bonfire, Steppenwolf’s drummer’s brother, saw a poster which said,” Born To Ride” with a photo of a motorbike taking off from the ground surrounded by fire. Around that time, he had bought his first car and that’s how the idea came about to celebrate the freedom of being able to go where you want and when you want.

NASA used “Born To Be Wild” to wake up their astronaut crews. And when a spaceship landed for the first time on Mars the small exploratory vehicle went down the ramp to the rhythm of “Get your motor running”.
