Rob Byrne together with daughter Petria and Rob’s brother Terry and his wife Elise form the family drive behind the business started by their parents in the 1960s. Celebrating sixty years and four generations, the Byrne family are dedication to sustainability and land regeneration practices, with an ethos to minimise harm and maximise benefits to the environment.

Having originally grown grapes for other major wineries, Byrne Vineyards started producing its own wines from the estate vineyards in 2008. They have 400 hectares in Clare Valley and Riverland, making Byrne Vineyards one of South Australia’s largest family-owned estate grown wine producers.

With numerous Trophy and Gold medal winners in the range, along with environmental awards for excellence in water management and sustaining the natural environment, a commitment to research and innovation, Byrne stands for quality for today and sustainability for the future.

Silky texture, notable for the sweetness of ripe plums leading to a smooth and lingering finish with a complexity of flavours, from ripe berries to subtle spices; all backed by the tingling mouthfeel of bubbles.
