Campestral Ancestral Clarete | Cadiz, Spain
Campestral Ancestral Clarete is very fruity, elegant and refreshing – part of the range of sparkling wines of ‘ancestral style’ made by Bodegas Campestral, in Arcos de la Frontera.
A blend of 93% Palomino Fino grapes from the town of Trebujena and 7% Petit Verdot from Arcos de la Frontera.
After alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks the wine is bottled before the end of the fermentation in order to generate a natural carbonation in the bottle. After around 9 months in contact with the fermentation lees, the wine is disgorged to remove the remains of the lees and bottled with a crown cap to retain the carbon dioxide in the bottle.
