Chateau de Caravettes | Languedoc, France

£19.70

The blend is what it says on the bottle!

With ‘garage’ wine looks the wine is made by traditional vinification: total destemming, temperature controlled fermentation and aged in French oak barrel for 10 month.

Château des Caravettes is close to Pic Saint Loup in Midi. It has a long history – since 1273 the Domain has changed owners but all had the passion of viticulture.

The domaine, nestled in the middle of the woods, counts 300ha of vineyards, of which 15 are in AOP Terraces of Larzac, cultivated sustainably in symbiosis with nature to produce expressive and intense wines.

Organic practices but no certificate – perhaps it would spoil the look of the bottle?
