Castelo do Mar Albarino | Rias Baixas, Spain

£17.70

Castelo do Mar is made entirely from hand picked Albariño grapes sourced from a number of prime spots, within the Rias Baixas Appellation.

The growing on trellis vines allows the grapes to be fully ventilated and in full sun. The ideal characteristics of granite terrain helps avoid much of the pesticide treatments and provide naturally low acidity musts. This also eliminates any malolactic fermentation of the wine and preserves the delicate varietal aroma and fresh flavours of the Albariño grape.
