Dulong Prestige | Sauternes, France
A great introduction to Sauternes from one of the leading Bordeaux houses.
A blend of 80% Sémilion, 15% Sauvignon, 5% Muscadelle from clay-chalk vineyards. The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed as soon as they arrive in the winery to extract the juice, the flavours and the sugar.
The particularity of Sauternes is that the proportion of sugar is so high, compared to the other wines, that when the process is over it is important the wine displays an unctuous sensation on the palate.
