Moulin Camus Folle Blanche Gros Plant du Pays | Loire, France
The Folle Blanche grape is a traditional grape of Gros Plant du Nantais, the region around Nantes. It is later ripening that the Melon de Bourgogne used for Muscadet but with greater, crisper acidity.
Grapes are grown on mica schist soil in the municipalities of Saint Julien de Concelles and Vallet. The wine uses the first run juice from a traditional pressing, settled by cold stabilisation (15°C) then alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperature of 16°C.
A perfect accompaniment to ‘fruits de mer’.
