Palate:
A fresh and zesty palate with flavours of melon, passionfruit, lime peel and a perfectly balanced herbaceous character with a long lasting finish.
Winemaking & Viticulture:
Vintage 2021 has been of exceptional quality and the resulting wines will be celebrated and reflected on for many years to come. With a lower yield due to a combination of frosts and cooler weather during flowering, the grapes ripened quickly resulting in a compact and quick harvest.
Carefully selected parcels of grapes from vineyards in the Awatere and Wairau valleys in Marlborough were used to make this wine. The fruit was gently pressed and fermented at a cool temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit purity and varietal character of the wine.
