Origin: McLaren Vale, Australia
Grapes: Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre
Tasting Notes: Generous and complex with a lovely intensity of rich fruit flavours but with an elegant structure and tannin level that gives great balance and a long lingering finish. Bright fruits – blackberry, blackcurrants and plums – are in synchronicity with violets, liquorice and delicate pepper and spice.
“Sweetly ripe and complex, the inviting bouquet shows Black Doris plum, raspberry, star anise, and nutmeg aromas, leading to a silky-smooth palate that's juicy and rounded. Generous and flavoursome with a fleshy texture and finely integrated tannins, offering excellent drinking.” Sam Kim
