Sweet Grenache fruit (83%) is perfectly balanced with Shiraz (13%) adding structure and length, while the subtle, savoury Mourvèdre (4%) lends a touch of opulence.

Blewitt Springs is the place to be for premium Grenache in South Australia. Partial whole bunch fermentation of the Grenache parcels results in bright red fruits, violets and spice. Shiraz provides the backbone for a long finish, while Mourvèdre delivers a plush gamey punch.

Grenache fruit is sourced from Jericho’s vineyard in Blewitt Springs, where vines grow on ancient sandy soils, resulting in a lighter bodied, aromatic style of Grenache. Shiraz is also sourced from the Blewitt Springs vineyard, where the cooling breezes from the Gulf of St. Vincent help temper the warmth of the long summer days.

Origin: McLaren Vale, Australia

Grapes: Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre

Tasting Notes: Generous and complex with a lovely intensity of rich fruit flavours but with an elegant structure and tannin level that gives great balance and a long lingering finish. Bright fruits – blackberry, blackcurrants and plums – are in synchronicity with violets, liquorice and delicate pepper and spice.

“Sweetly ripe and complex, the inviting bouquet shows Black Doris plum, raspberry, star anise, and nutmeg aromas, leading to a silky-smooth palate that's juicy and rounded. Generous and flavoursome with a fleshy texture and finely integrated tannins, offering excellent drinking.” Sam Kim
