Lust for Life Brut | Valencia, Spain

£16.10

“… ‘cause of a lust for life (ooh) I’ve got a lust for life (ooh)…“

Made from 100% Macabeo grapes, organically produced but not certified, from selected vineyards south east of Valencia. At 700m there is a perfect combination of Mediterranean and continental climates. The wine is made is stainless steel tanks as a still wine, then carbonated just before bottling - Méthode Gazéifiée.

Lust for Life was written by Iggy Pop and David Bowie in a Berlin hotel is less that one hour - born from Iggy’s obsession with the track You Can’t Hurry Love by The Supremes. In the studio he intentionally recorded the vocals in one take - no cuts, no second attempt: “If I mess up, who gives a f*ck.”

Lust for Life wasn’t just a song, it was a statement of principles. Much like this wine.
