Precious Day Cremant de Bordeaux | Bordeaux, France

£13.40

The AOC Crémant de Bordeaux is relatively young (1990), but the method behind it goes back to the 19th century, when Bordeaux cellars first mastered secondary fermentation in bottle.

All the grapes used must be picked by hand and the wine aged for a minimum of 12 months to qualify as Crémant de Bordeaux. Most whites utilise a mix of grapes including Sémillon, which lends more minerally flavours and grassy, floral aromas than Champagne and other Cremants.

Precious Day is a blend of 60% Sémillon and 40% Merlot. resulting in a unique and captivating flavour profile. Its combination of fruitiness, elegance, and affordability makes it a real crowd-pleaser

There are several different labels for each bottling, all depicting a scene from a 'precious day'.
