The carefully tended old vines were planted in the 1970s – the Sidney Wilcox Homestead dates from 1906 – in a single estate comprising of limestone with red desert sand overlay.
The low yield grapes are bag pressed, cold settled and racked to ferment. A small proportion has contact with seasoned French oak, the majority is tank fermented to retain the varietal freshness.

Tasting Notes: Bright straw yellow colour. Very fragrant aromas of orange and lemon blossom with hints of bergamot. It is a dry wine (3.6g/lt residual sugar) with crisp minerality on the palate, delicate spiced Muscat and citrus notes finishing with a long velvety and zippy freshness. Crafted specifically to go with spicy fusion foods such as baked salmon and fennel, chilli crab or curries.
