Ch d’Angles Classique Rosé

More assertive than a typical Provençal rosé and much drier than many others. A very expressive and structured rosé.

Made from a blend of Mourvèdre (80%), Cinsault (10%), Syrah (10%) grown on the hard limestone screes of the mountain La Clape. After total de-stemming the juice is gravity-fed into vats, and undergos a temperature-controlled fermentation and stirring of the fine lees in concrete vats over 3 months.

Grower and winemaker Eric Fabre follows sustainable practices (according to High Environmental Value Certification) for respect of the environment and complexity of the wine: organic composted amendment, crushed shoots, plowing, no insecticides, no weed killers.

Tasting Notes:

Brilliant, “pink flamingo” colour. Intense and complex nose of white flowers and fruits, citrus fruits and also small fresh red berries aromas. Plentiful mouth with a long and complex aromatic composition balanced by a mineral freshness.

Food pairing: Will definitely match all kinds of summer dishes like salads and grills. Also excellent with Asian cuisine and red berries-based desserts.

Ageing potential: Enjoy fresh and fruity in the first 3 years. Ageing potential of 4 to 5 years.
