Folonari Garganega Pinot Grigio
From the more exclusive DO of Garda within the more usual Veneto region, Folonari’s blend of Garganega and Pinot Grigio makes a clean, “easy-quaffing” but quality drink.
This wine is vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks and released when young to accentuate the vibrant, fresh characters of its crisp fruit. The perfect glass for any occasion.
Pale straw yellow colour with a fragrant bouquet of fresh floral, honey and clove aromas with some grassy notes. Dry and crisp with notes of green apples. Clean finish, easy drinking,
Pair with: fresh salads, seafood, fried appetisers (like calamari), mozzarella, pasta with pesto or creamy sauce.
About the Producer
Folonari was founded in 1825 in the Veneto region of northeast Italy by Francesco Folonari. From the very beginning, the founders wanted to create exceptional wines for everyday occasions.
The Folonari lion symbol on the label conveys the unique spirit of the brand. Inspired by the original lion illustration from the Veneto flag, with a fresh twist to the Lion of St. Mark, it boldly celebrates the history of the winery and paying homage to its origins.
