Saint Émilion ‘Château La Pointe Bouquey’

Château La Pointe Bouquey is a blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, the vines have an average age of 40 years.

Its 13ha of vines are located in the heart of Saint-Emilion appellation.  Wine is vinified in the traditional way using concrete and stainless steel vats with 60% aged in oak barrels of which 20% is new oak.

Production is 80, 000 bottles with a keeping potential of 5-6 years.

Tasting Notes:

A soft and well balanced wine with aromas of red fruits, cedar wood, and vanilla; layers of fruit on the palate are rounded off by silky, already integrated, tannins.
