Chablis ‘La Pierrelée’

Possibly the most famous white wine in the world, in fact it is so famous in its own right, it can be overlooked that the wines are exclusively made from the Chardonnay grape.

The region is geographically quite far north of the rest of Burgundy, and as such has a subtle difference in style.

Tasting Notes:

La Pierrelée (“the stones”) refers to the stony soils of the region and the mineral edge of classic Chablis style. The wine has great minerality, is crisp yet full of fruit.
